| Meetings start at 19:00 on the first Thursday of the month. Many meet for drinks before the meeting and on other Thursday evenings as well. Attendance is not mandatory but they are part of who we are. |

On November 10, 1775 the Marine Corps was founded by Robert Mullan at Tun Tavern in Philadelphia. Samuel Nicholas was appointed as the first Commandant of the Marines. |
